Another large Amerindian gambling den is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 slot machines, and 14 table games. In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is available 24 hours, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 one armed bandits, 36 table games, and four restaurants. There are several other popular Iowa casinos, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a riverboat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. Another Iowa paddle wheel boat casino, The Isle of Capri, is available never closes, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday blackjack tournaments.
Iowa casinos present a great deal of tax money to the government of Iowa, which has enabled the funding of a good many state wide activities. Vacationers have grown at an accelerated rate along with the request for companies and a gain in jobs. Iowa casinos have contributed to the growth of the market, and the excitement for gaming in Iowa is across the board.
