A smaller Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa water based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot riverboat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday 21 tournaments.
Iowa casinos offer a great amount of tax revenue to the government of Iowa, which has enabled the budgeting of a lot of commonwealth wide activities. Visitors have grown at a rapid rate along with the request for services and a gain in employment. Iowa casinos have been instrumental to the advancement of the economy, and the excitement for gambling in Iowa is absolute.
